I really had no choice but to shop for the cheapest car insurance that I could find if I was going to be able to afford to add my son to my policy. I had talked with my agent about adding my son and I about fell over when she told me what it was going to cost me each month to have him on it. I never would have thought that they could charge that much for a teenage driver that has taken driver safety courses and has never had any kind of accident or ticket.
After she told me what I would have to pay to stay with that company, I knew that it was time for me to find another provider to use.
